The Bear Lake Animal Hospital is excited to provide full-service dog and cat boarding! We have a long history of providing quality veterinary services to the Bear Lake Valley, and we are pleased to begin boarding our special companions.

Benefits of boarding at the Bear Lake Animal Hospital:

• Depending on the size of your animal, pet boarding rates start at just $15 for more than a 12 hour stay on a weekday.

• Your pet is monitored throughout the day by the staff and doctors of the Bear Lake Animal Hospital.

• Your pet is fed at least twice a day with their own food brought from home to maintain their health and comfort, or they will be fed a highly digestible blend of Hills Science diet at a cost of $5 a day.

• Your dog or puppy will be taken outside to urinate and defecate at least 3 times a day.

• During their bathroom breaks, they will be allowed to run and play in our large grass area on a leash/tether rope under supervision.

• Each pet will receive a complimentary physical exam at the time of their check in.

• We also offer day care services with a daytime stay of 12 hours or less starting at $7.50.

• There’s no extra charge for up to 2 medications dispensed to your pet per day.

• Finish your pet’s stay with a bath and brush with your choice of one of 3 shampoos for only $10*! (*Price available for pet’s who have stayed with us for longer than 24 hours)

• To make your pet’s stay more comfortable, a bed and or blanket can be brought from home; otherwise, we will provide adequate bedding for each pet.

We do ask that all dogs be current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccines. Cats are to be up to date on Rabies and Distemper vaccinations with proof of most recent vaccination provided at check in.

Boarding with us allows you to take advantage of the many veterinary services we offer including: nail trims, ear cleanings, anal gland expression, vaccine boosters, and dental cleanings during your pet’s stay. Your consent will be obtained before proceeding with any veterinary services, and a full detailed report of your pet’s stay will be given at check out.
